Looking Good!

There are just a few spots left for gardeners to still start this season. This is the prime time to plant, and it is safe to plant anything now.
A few notes:
I put two bales of hay in the shed, which can be used by anyone for mulch.
Remember this is the time of year when the sun is the most intense, so water before 10 am or after 4 pm so you don't burn your plants.
The weather is very dry, so be sure to keep up with your watering. Adding mulch will help keep more moisture in the soil.
When you are out watering, think of the round herb bed and the little red planter with herbs. I would appreciate it if you would water them when you are watering your plots!
I will likely plant a "community plot" next week with tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and cucumbers. Any produce in that plot is free to anyone, whether they have a plot or not. It will be marked as a community plot.
